The Reach Systems’ Caiman is a miniature winch with advanced control options, designed for deploying battery powered sensors and devices from Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs), smart buoys, and small manned vessels. At less than 9 kg in weight, and only 254 mm high, the Caiman fits almost anywhere; with support for over 300 m. of wire cable or rope, it is a perfect solution for remote deployment and retrieval of CTDs, SVPs, eDNA sensors, Hydrophones, and more.
